May 1960 I was home at Greenock on ticket leave when I took a spin down to Gourock on my bike and saw my last ship coming up river, hared up the Esplanade at Greenock to catch her closer as she was going up to Glasgow to have a new Ruston generator installed, a long story about the one wrecked at Aden when we were outward bound.

Nice shot although I say it myself, blue sky, sea and house flag proudly to the fore!
