WAVERLEY |
The last sea going paddle steamer in the world built in Glasgow in 1947 and sold into preservation in 1974.Since then she has become a familiar sight around Britain. She received more or less a complete rebuild in 2000 restoring her to near 1947 condition and this shot was taken then with the paint hardly dry leaving Dunoon on the Clyde coast one summer/s evening. |
