As a favourite of old B/W-photos, I am supplying a photo of CLAN MACINTYRE, coming from a negative I bought a while ago. She is here seen in 6/1973. Clan Line had almost all of their newbuildings built at Greenock Dockyard, which almost entirely was occupied with building for this company. But this one seem to be a bit off; as she was built at John Browns Yard at Clydebank.(1952)
Anyway; CLAN MACINTYRE was sold in 1975 to Panama and renamed EASTERN EXPRESS. In december 1979 she was wrecked off Marina de Carrera in Italy. |
