Built by Workman, Clark Co. Ltd., Belfast, (Yard No. 466) for the British Tanker Co. Ltd. and delivered in June 1922. 10,898 DWT, 440.4' LOA Breadth 57'. Powered by 2 steam turbines manufactured by the ship builder, double reduction geared to a single shaft with an output of 3,025 shp. She struck a mine in mid Channel North of Cap de la Hague, Cherbourg, on the 12th June 1944 while taking part in the Invasion of Normandy. She was in a slow convoy out of Bristol heading for the Invasion Beaches when the incident ocurred and she was severely damaged but managed to make port safely. She was lucky to have survived as she was fully loaded with a cargo of high octain aviation spirit when she hit the mine. She was fully repaired and re-entered company service, trading until 1952 when she was sold to the Vivalet Shipping and Trading Co. S.A. of Panama and renamed Emily. (Awful name for a tanker!). Sold again in 1954 to Traders & Shippers (Tankers) Ltd. Israel and renamed Yarkon. Sold in November 1958 to Cantiera Nav. Santa Maria S.p.A., La Spezia for demolition but was sold on to Brodospas in January 1959 and arrived at Split that month for breaking up.
