A fisherman from Fornells accustomed to the unforeseen events of another Tramuntana storm, which had been aware of the merchant's situation as he had been anchored for two days in front of the point known as Es Ciprer (margin of the Levant of Cala Tirant), commented that very Little could make the ship in its situation if the wind rolled to N or NE with the intensity with which it was blowing in those moments.

And it happened. Wow, it happened. The members of the Civil Guard, who were carrying out their surveillance work in the area that night, observed in dismay that the ship had beached on the same rocks. Immediately they gave part to its operations headquarters that, in turn, would pass the information to the naval authority in the Island. The Navy Command immediately alerted the forces of the Red Cross and put in gear the necessary device to take to The rescue of the crew, after putting to the front of the same to the sergeant bosun destined like guardian of Port and Fishing in Fornells. When the forces arrived at the point of the accident, the ship was already literally dry, stranded on the rocks on which the impressive waves had been thrown by the furious storm, so that the immediate rescue of the men who were on board.
