MONFIORE

Nav. Alta Italia SpA's 1959 built MONFIORE is seen at Montreal in April 1971. She had arrived there on 13th April from Gdansk. In 1973 she was sold to N.& J. Vlassopulos to trade as TOLMIDIS until she started making water on 18th January 1978 when 60nm east of Hampton Roads during a voyage from Baltimore to Singapore. She was towed into Hampton Roads on 25th January and departed on 20th September 1978 under tow of the tug HANSEAT bound for Cartagena, Colombia, for breaking, arriving there on 1st October 1978.
