Pictured on the repair lanes at AstiCan Ship repair Yard, Las Palmas on 26/11/2011. Built in 2004 by R.M.K. Marine, Tuzla, Turkey (56), 4,599 g.t. and 6,937 dwt., as :- 'Mencey'. Usually engaged in inter-Canary-islands oil product transportation. Incidentally, 'Mencey' was the title given to the King of the aboriginal settlers- the 'Guanches'- on the island of Tenerife, prior to Spanish conquest. Regards, Rick
