CITY OF BEIRUT
CITY OF BEIRUT
She arrived on 03/03/2011 from Lome, Togo with main engine damage which was expected to take 2 days to repair, according to the crew.
2 days turned into a week, she was sold, a new crew appeared and she was renamed 'City of Beirut' yesterday, 10/03/2011, but remains Panama flagged.
I wonder if she will remain a car/truck carrier or, considering her new name, be converted into a livestock carrier?

Built in 1987 by Hyundai, Ulsan, South Korea (601), 31,367 g.t. and 9,726 dwt., as:-
"Hyundai No.202" to 1990,
"Nosac Clipper" to 1993,
"Hyundai No.202" to 1997,
"Tongala" to 1999,
"Hyundai No.202' to 10/03/2011 and
"City of Beirut' since.

Regards, Rick
